This Friday (13th Of September) is World Afro Day and schools have been invited to celebrate the event.
WORLD AFRO DAY (WAD)
Is a global day of change, education and celebration of Afro hair, culture and identity. The event is held annually and is endorsed by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
All children are invited to come to school proudly showing off their hair!
At 1:30pm on Friday, children in Yrs 4,5 and 6 will have the opportunity to be part of a live streamed assembly with other children from all over the world.
