October is Black History Month and Taiga Class have been learning all about Windrush 75. We produced some fantastic group artwork and in addition to this, lots of writing about our class text, Tales From the Caribbean. The author, Trish Cooke, was born in Bradford but her parents came over from the Caribbean as part of the Windrush Generation.
Children were also tasked with making some Windrush 75 posters for their home learning. Have a look below at some of our learning.
