As part of celebrating STEAM, we have taken part in lots of activties. We designed our dream classroom and constructed them with the help of Yuki. The children really enjoyed measuring the classroom, talking about their ideas and seeing them come alive using junk modelling. To incorporate all aspects of STEAM we used butteflies as a theme. We chose butterflies as they are great example of creatures that show symmetry. We drew them and carefully tried to follow patterns on the wings with pencils. We also went on a fun butterfly hunt in our school garden.
