As the main daily meal in dozens of countries around the world, a school lunch holds a place of primary importance.
Eating in the middle of the day, several hours after breakfast, re-energizes your body and can raise blood sugar levels when focus and concentration may be flagging. For children feeling sluggish, eating even a small lunch can renew their energy and help them feel refreshed and ready to take on the next few hours. It can also help with behaviour which then improves attainment.
Children at St Mark’s enjoy their school lunches every day, thanks to our wonderful catering team (Annie, Shilpi, Florence and Vata)
On offer each day we have a choice of main meal and desert, a wide variety of salads and fresh fruit which the children have requested.
During the year parents are invited in to experience a lunchtime with their child and to sample the culinary delights.
