This week was Safer Internet Day. Opal class discussed some of the issues around information sharing on the internet. We discussed some scenario problems and children came up with ways they would deal with certain situations if they were to find themselves in it. It was reassuring to hear that all children would tell an adult. We then looked at what the acronym SMART meant. Children then logged on to Purple Mash on the chromebooks to have a go at designing an online safety poster.
