Today at St Mark’s we held a special Remembrance Day Assembly. We reflected and thought about the meaning of Remembrance Day and discussed the Armistice and the significance of the poppy as a sign of respect and sacrifice. We also thought about what happens on remembrance day and the soldiers who are stationed in war zones all around the world.
At 11am we held a two minutes silence to pay our respects to those who lost their lives.
Following our two minutes silence, we listened to ‘The Last Post’, the famous bugle call played by Mrs Bearfoot’s Dad. (Mr Hughes)
