Yesterday in assembly we learnt about the importance of the poppy in preparation for Remembrance Day and the different symbolic meaning for the different coloured poppies.

As part of the weekend homework task, children (and adults) designed and made their own poppies. Today, for our special Remembrance Day they wore their poppies with pride and respect.
