This week the children have been busy learning to work together as a team for many of our lessons. They have been building their knowledge on our history topic and put together a timeline in chronological order. In English we have been building our learning to write a setting description, using a variety of nouns, verbs and adjectives. In maths we have been looking at odd and even numbers and learning to understand how to recognise odd and even number and exploring some word problems. We also linked our learning to the Egyptian number system. In R.E we have been building our knowledge in trying to answer our big question ” What is the Bible’s Big Story and what does it reveal about having faith in God?” we worked in groups to put together a timeline which formed the eight key concepts ( ask your child what these are) telling the one big plot.
