Today, as part of St Mark’s cooking week Onyx class have been cooking an African Vegetable Stew, linked to our African topic. Here are some pictures of the children preparing, cooking and enjoying the food.
Try not to cry when chopping your onion Arran. We learnt the bridging technique when chopping our vegetables .
We fried the onions in a pan and then added other ingredients such as fresh tomatoes, garlic and chickpeas. Nicely done Theo!
We enjoyed our African stew at the end of the day. It looks like Mafthew enjoyed his stew!
Vivian looks happy with her cooking skills. Watch out Jamie Oliver!
