Last Thursday, St Mark’s School were lucky enough to have a visit from some eager volunteers from the Japanese bank of MUFG. Organised through the ‘Big Alliance’ eleven helpers left their desks for a day to help Caroline in the garden and to make our school look fantastic. Volunteers had a variety of tasks including, sorting the compost bins; planting up the hanging baskets; tidying the greenhouse and planting in the pond garden! All volunteers said they had and amazing experience and were full of compliments for the children. We are lucky enough to have a second team of volunteers from MUFG returning next Thursday for the last full week of the academic year.
Please check out their handiwork in our beautiful hanging baskets outside our Early Years building
A big thank you to Caroline and all involved.
