In Amber class we have been making butterflies as part of our topic Nature Detectives.
First we drew around our hands and then carefully cut out the shape of the hands to make the butterfly wings. Then we stuck the hands to a lolly stick to make the butterfly wings. Finally we had fun decorating the wings.
As part of our topic we visit local parks and green spaces. On our last visit we met a parent who introduced us to her hamster. We held the hamster and gently stroked it. The hamster was small and soft.
