As part of of our learning of other faiths. Opal class today role played the seder meal which is a central part of the Jewish festival of Passover. The seder meal re-tells the story of Passover when the Israelites were freed from slavery from Egypt by Moses. Children learnt about the symbolic meaning of each ingredient on the seder plate. This helped to reinforce their understanding and new learning.
They also got to try some of the ingredients on the seder plate. The most interesting facial expressions coming from when they tried the freshly grated horseradish.
