For our topic ‘Toys over Time’ we had an immersion day!
We dressed up like our grandparents or parents when they were young and we gave ourselves old fashioned names. We called each other these names all day, it was really tricky to remember them! We brought in old toys from the past and shared them with the class.
We whisked eggs and spread butter onto bread to make bread and butter pudding. It was delicious!
We had a visit from Mr King, the first headteacher of St Mark’s, he was a bit scary!
