On Monday 17th October the school went to St Mark’s Church to celebrate Harvest. We were accompanied by our trolley full of food that had been donated to go to Foodbank!
At church we sang songs as a thanksgiving for all God provides for us and classes wrote some beautiful Harvest prayers.
Rev Trev and Jake (St Mark’s Children’s Worker) talked to the children about ‘reaping what we sow’ and Mr Peacock did some amazing Maths calculations!
Children did an activity where they thought about what they would like to ‘sow’ this harvest to make the world a better place for all.
All in all we had a great Harvest Festival!
