Helen Peters was up next, she explained how she got her ideas from a visit to a large house.
Scott Allen wrote llama United, he presented a funny presentation on why he chose llamas over other animals

Peter explained how he used parts of ‘Oliver’ by Charles Dickens to write his story Moonlocket.
Laura Ellen Anderson was also one of the shortlisted authors for the book award 2018
Laura explained how her characters evolved from different Disney films.

We’re not sure what she won but all authors received a box! Perhaps one of them might write a story about its content…?

All the authors were pleased with the award ceremony. Many children from different schools were able to ask them questions.

After buying our books and getting the authors autograph were ready to head back to school.
