This term we have been exploring the topic of dinosaurs. Presently the favourite activity is exploring the dinosaur swamp tuff tray. The children often pretended the dinosaurs are stuck or hiding in the slushy sand and need to be rescued. We also have rescued dinosaurs from ice blocks and dug deep in the ground.
Outside in the garden we have enjoyed making big and small movements whilst pretending that we are dinosaurs.
In Creation class we have a variety of different dinosaur books on our library shelf for the children to choose to read.
We are looking forward to continuing exploring the dinosaur theme for the rest of the term.
