Today Year 4 had their final Yoga lesson of the term.
During this unit of study children have developed their physical, social, emotional and thinking skills. Children have learnt about mindfulness and body awareness as well as yoga poses and techniques that will help to connect their mind and body.
The unit also looks to improve well being by building strength, flexibility and balance. The learning includes breathing and meditation taught through fun and engaging activities. Pupils have worked independently and with others to create their own yoga flows.
In today’s lesson children performed their final yoga flow routines for Karen and Lance.
