This week we had our Christingle service where we light the candles on our Christingles to commemorate the start of Advent.
A Christingle consists of an orange which represents the world, 4 cocktail sticks to represent the four seasons, red tape/ ribbon to symbolise the love and blood of Christ, raisins to represent God’s Creation and a lit candle to represent Jesus’ light in the world, and the hope he brings to those in Darkness.
