This Autumn Term, Onyx Class looked into the life and work of Chinwe Chukwuogo-Roy. We found out about her early life in Nigeria and how she was affected by the Biafran War. We then looked at her adult life and how she moved to the UK and attended Hornsey College of Art in North London.
The inspiration for our piece was her painting ‘Flame of the Forest’. We used watercolour and oil pastel for our work. Have a look below at some of the fantastic work we produced.
