We are the children of the frontline workers,

We’re so proud of what our parents do.

While you’re home with your family,

We are missing ours at school.

But they are working hard to protect us,

From this virus, that is so cruel,

By removing hugs and interaction

And changing everything we do.

 We have faith and admiration,

For all of us who play our part

Your sacrifices, hope and compassion

Will help to kill this virus fast.

 So spare a thought for all humanity

Never before have we needed them

So stay at home and protect each other

Until the time we meet again.
