I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and friendly school community here at St. Marks. As the Headteacher, with over 20 years of experience at St. Marks and a career spent in Islington, I am incredibly proud of the positive environment and strong values that define our school.
At St. Marks, we are a popular and oversubscribed inner-city school serving children aged 2-11 years old. Our one-form entry approach means we know each child personally and provide a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere. As a Church of England school, our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do, guiding how we treat each other with respect and kindness. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff are passionate about making learning exciting and fun. We offer creative and challenging experiences that help children grow and develop both inside and outside the classroom. Our students regularly participate in a variety of activities and events, which enrich their learning and help them build confidence. We are supported by a committed Governing Body that works closely with us to ensure we are always striving to improve. We embrace new and innovative practices to provide the best possible education for our children. Our focus on “holistic development” and “evidence-based strategies” helps us create a dynamic and effective learning environment.
