Over the last few weeks we have enjoyed learning about winter and all the animals that live in the cold weather. We have been very creative and made some wonderful animals of our own. The children have a particular favourite, which is the polar bear.
Here are a few ideas to try at home:
- Make your own arctic animal
- Snowy playdough
- Colourful ice
- Reading stories about polar bears, penguins or other winter animals
- Go on a walk and talk about the winter weather
- Watch kids documentary on YouTube about arctic animals
You can take photos and email them into the school and I can upload them onto the website.
