Thank you to all the staff and children who have helped celebrate our 60th anniversary this week. So far we have enjoyed a range of activities during our round-a-bout day and we have dressed up in costumes ranging from the Victorian era right up to the present day. Today Annie and her wonderful team prepared a scrumptious buffet lunch and Margaret kindly decorated some very special cakes for us. However, our celebrations are not over yet. The children will be learning lots about the history of St Mark’s in class and on Thursday our assembly will be based on the school’s original opening ceremony back in 1955. On Friday we will be holding a special ‘Golden Time Quiz’ before finishing off the week with our Summer Fair. I’m not sure what my favourite part of the week has been. Why don’t you write about your favourite part and blog it here?
