This week at St Marks Jet have been learning about how to enjoy the internet safely. We looked closely at how to be sensible when sending messages and what to do if an inappropriate message was ever sent to us.

Don’t give away your personal details to strangers
If a picture comes up then always tell an adult .dont tell strangers your personal information.
My top tip for all children is if any rude or inappropriate comments are posted tell someone you trust
My top tip for for staying safe online is don’t tell anyone where you live or where you go to school
My tip is you should always log out on websites so people don’t hack into your account

Being safe on the Internet is really good example if you are alone at home and a stranger gives you message don’t your personal details.

Hello young internet users. If you are ever unsure about the right thing to do to stay safe when using the internet, your friends may be able to help, or a responsible adult – like a teacher or family member. The important thing is to remember to get advice so that you can avoid making a BIG!! mistake.
