This half-term in Koinonia Class, we have been learning all about Properties of Materials.
We explored the uses for different materials, hardness of materials, transparency vs translucency vs opacity and investigated thermal and electrical insulators and conductors.
To consolidate all of our learning, we planned and carried out an experiment to investigate our inquiry questions: which materials best insulate heat?
We found that out of aluminium foil, felt and bubblewrap, felt was the best thermal insulatorsl.
