At St Mark’s, we are introducing the Zone of Regulation to help children understand and manage their emotions. By recognising and naming their feelings, children can develop strategies to regulate themselves, making them more confident and resilient learners.
We believe that “If we can name it, we can sort it.” By exploring emotions in a supportive environment, we empower children to navigate challenges, build positive relationships, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
This is especially important during Children’s Mental Health Week, as we continue to prioritise well-being and equip our pupils with lifelong skills for emotional regulation.
Thank you to Ms West for creating such a wonderful display for the children to use!
