In Year 5, we have kicked off the year exactly as we mean to go on – with lots of fun activities and even more learning.
We have been learning all about our new class name, which is based on the Christian Value of Koinonia – this means community and fellowship.
We thought about how we can show Koinonia in our everyday lives and even saw some examples of where koinonia shows up in nature – i.e bees working together within a colony to create honey.
We had the chance to show Koinonia by playing some exciting team building games, and even got stuck into creating some posters in small groups, for our P.S.H.E learning.
We are very excited for the new year ahead and are looking forward to all we have to learn together as a community.
