As part of our Science topic ‘ Plants’, Desert Class worked with Caroline to set up a plant growing experiment.
We are testing if the amount of sunflower seeds we plant will effect the height of the sunflower that grows. So we put different amounts of seeds in four pots that have the same amount of soil, water and sunlight. We have all made predictions and will care for and revisit our plants at regular intervals to observe plant growth.
After setting up our experiment we helped Caroline to plant the remaining seeds in our school garden, so look out for our emerging sunflowers!
