“The Starry night” by Vincent Van Gogh.

We love to explore famous artists. Our foil painting activity was inspired by the painting “The Starry night” by Vincent Van Gogh. Firstly, folding foil onto cardboard, we created our canvas. Using different shades of blue and white on the foil background really helped create the swirly effect in Van Gogh’s Painting “Starry Night”

This painting on foil activity works on many skills for young children. They are able to work on fine motor skills, learn about a famous artist, and explore colour mixing and experiment with a new media.
