As part of our science topic ‘Forces’, today we investigated friction.
We tested the effect surface friction would have on a toy car, by investigating how different surfaces would impact the motion of the car. We had great fun ensure we tested each surface fairly and measuring the distance the car traveled. We proved our predictions correct and found that the car traveled the furthest on the smooth lino due to less friction and the shortest distance on the turf due to more friction.
