Today, Rainforest had a fantastic opportunity to have an exciting and memorable experience at the London Mithraeum. Pupils had the chance to observe, question and explore real artefacts found here in 1954! Pupils’ enhanced their understanding of the past and the impact of the Roman Empire on Britain, even to unlock the secrets of Roman London. Overall, we discovered what life was like 2,000 years ago!
Finally, we got to experience the Mithraeum temple itself, which was originally built for a Roman God called, Mithras. We even got to watch an immersive video about Mithras. See below some pictures of our learning.
