We had a fantastic week during our STEAM week in Sapphire Class. In Science, we watched our butterflies emerge from their chrysalis and released them into our playground. In Maths, we learned about symmetry and drew a symmetrical butterfly, using colouring pencils to create beautiful designs. We entered into the whole school competition to have our butterfly displayed in our new library. The winner was…..Cassius!
Yuika’s Mum visited our class and the Architecture Club explained how they designed their dream bedroom to scale. We used these ideas to design our own dream classroom and in D&T we then created these classrooms. We showed them to Year 4 and they voted for their favourite classrooms. The winners were….Natalya and Harry!
