Wall Art
In year 5, we have been working hard on creating some beautiful pieces of art! On the corridors outside our class we have made two amazing displays.
The theme for the first display, is togetherness. With this display, we crafted papier-mâché balloons each and joined them together. As you can see, we’re in the Hot air balloon, winding through the skies! The moral of this display is that when we work together, the skies the limit!
The second display is based on the ancient Greeks and the Olympic Games! We used the concept, ‘Our Journey’ from our amazing new curriculum to influence the work we did. We looked at how humans would not be where we are today, without ancient civilisations. We used our Christian Value of peace to help our writing. We looked at the Olympic truce of the ancient games, and how still nations compete together to bring harmony and joy through sport.
